Sarah Thompson’s art career began at the age of two, while sitting on her grandmother’s kitchen floor with a tray of watercolors and a pad of newsprint. In 2004, she graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a BFA in Ceramics.
Sarah’s background in sculpture continues to influence the composition and process of her paintings and mixed-media pieces. Her art showcases local landscapes featuring vibrant colors, rich textures, and dynamic composition. Sarah has shown her work at the Fitchburg Art Museum, Worcester Center for Crafts, ArtsWorcester, and through various local galleries, businesses, and events throughout Massachusetts.
When she isn’t working, Sarah enjoys running, reading, listening to music, cooking, agonizing over the Red Sox and Patriots, and spending time with her husband and children.
